Clare F. McCann
Hi, welcome to my website! I’m a Ph.D. candidate in Developmental Psychology at the University of California, Los Angeles. I work with Dr. Jennifer Silvers in the Social Affective Neuroscience and Development lab. I’m interested in understanding adolescence, a time in life when a lot is changing all at once. The brain is developing rapidly, puberty is underway, and social and emotional challenges are becoming more complex. I am working to build models that help track these changes over time, with the goal of understanding how they work together to shape teens’ mental health, behavior, and overall well-being.
Read more about my research interests in the research section of my site.
I also enjoy reading (my goodreads is somewhere on here)! And learning new methods-y things!
